Does anyone have a "paid" placement service they can recommend for the credit & Collection arena? I have posted for Credit Jobs Today however have not had any luck in my area (Southern California, specifically San Diego and Orange Counties). I have been in the "Credit world" since 1982, have my CCE and have excellent experience and skill set, yet finding a position seems next to impossible in this economic climate.

I've never used a "paid" placement service. A few of the recruiters I've worked with seem somewhat lacking in the follow up department. Granted those have not been a paid placement situation however if I'm going to go down that road, I would greatly appreciate some feedback from anyone who could make a recommendation.

Thanks much to the community!

John Lysdahl on "CMA members that do not respond to RFIs"

There are two members of the group to which I belong that do not respond to RFIs. I am aware of this because the CMA member is listed as a reference on the credit application so I put out an RFI rather than send a reference. Consistantly there is no response.

My question, therefore, is it proper to not respond to their RFIs?

I am looking for some good articles that show lawsuits pertaining to discrimination in granting/denying credit. It would also be helpful if it related to "credit scoring" - I need to do a presentation on this.
